At this year’s SAFe® Summit in Sorrento, Andrew Sales, Chief Methodologist at Scaled Agile, and Mirko Kleiner, President of the LAP Alliance, jointly announced that Lean-Agile Procurement (LAP) is now one of the first official competencies in the ‘reimagined SAFe Framework — which brings a focus to solving real business problems — a significant milestone for both the global Lean, Agile and Procurement communities.

This moment marks a strategic shift: procurement is no longer a blocker but a key enabler of flow, speed, and innovation across supply chains.
